ROAE2 visits the large-scale agricultural promotion system project for fiscal year 2025
Between 4 - 17 December 2024, Ms. Thanaphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Warit Chusakun, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division, along with Mr. Thanakorn Kaewcharoon, Expert Economist, and Mr. Latthaphon Kalyanamitra, Operational Economist, to visit the area to follow up on the results of operations under the large-scale agricultural promotion system project for fiscal year 2025 by interviewing project officers, large-scale plot leaders, and member farmers. In the area of responsibility of 3 provinces: Phitsanulok, Sukhothai and Uttaradit, a total of 20 plots, covering 8 types of agricultural products: rice, animal feed corn, cassava, industrial sugarcane, durian, mango, rubber and vegetables/herbs.
The purpose of the field visit to follow up on the results of the large-scale agricultural promotion system project this time is to follow up on the results of the operations that occurred between 2022 - 2024, including to know the problems, obstacles and listen to suggestions in various related areas, such as reducing production costs, increasing productivity, linking markets and processing, etc., as well as to know the satisfaction with the overall operation. The aim is to make the project management efficient and effective and use it as information for decision-making to improve the operations under the said project.
